Altered French Fry Container: Monsters visit my Box
I had a little challenge today to alter something using glitter and ribbon. My son had brought home a french fry container and I just couldn't resist transforming it into a little "monster" holder. Paper is by Reminisce "Me Hungry". I repurposed a bottle cap, end cap from a pillsbury biscuit container and some straight pins. I'm going to make a little album to put inside!

Broadcasting from the Box: Altered Starbucks Sleeve Holder
I'm in a Facebook group that is all about being crafty among. Recently there was a challenge to use mixed media for different themes. I chose "Children" for my theme. I thought this was a great chance to make a mini album of my children for my children. This is the first mini album I've made using photos. Normally I'll make a mini album, leave it blank to add photos to it later...ya right! That just doesn't happen! This time I chose the photos, then made the album pages, based on the photos. This is the most fun creating I've had in a very long time! I used a Stampin' Up kit I purchased off of ebay years ago. Never thought I would use flat stickers, but they just seem to make the album. I'm thinking I might try to buy more "kits" or even create my own for more projects like this. Super easy and other than journaling, a one day wonder!! Hope you enjoy! <3
Getting Out of the Box
It seems this is a wet little box that is quite hard to get out of. No matter how much I pushed or pulled or shoved I just couldn't get this little box open. Well the box seems to have dried out a little and its ready to open and let me out. I have all kinds of ideas that have been brewing in my little box for the past year and a half. Time to start getting them posted and shared with the rest of the world!
Of course I do owe a little bit of thanks to a very kind lady who took her own leap of faith and opened her own box of wonders. She creates and shares her amazing works and I am truly grateful for the little shove she gave me! Thanks Jacque!
